Danmon Group Systems completed the re-build of Kanal 75’s entire production infrastructure with a new HD workflow based on EVS production servers, the EVS IPDirector, and integration with  their existing Avid Interplay Media Asset Manager (MAM).
 
Kanal 75 is a prolific Swedish producer of live, produced and archive horse racing content. Danmon’s project included the turnkey delivery of production infrastructure system, built around horse racing TV/Media Production and the contract included the complete video, audio and broadcast-related control systems, as well as commissioning and training. 
 
The Kanal 75 committed to the decision to move to full tapeless HD production for both broadcast TV and web production, and the new system provides for fast and reliable ingest and delivery for end-to-end workflow. The workflow includes logging, ingest, control room, archive and MAM with integration to the Avid Editing System complete with integrated MAM and archive.
 
The new Kanal 75 solution utilizes the EVS XS and XT3 production servers for ingest, production and control room playout, both for live and recorded studio programs. The EVS IPDirector suite is used for ingest scheduling, clipping, streaming, production content management and playout control. IPDirector also handles the logging of races and delivery to Kanal 75’s web distribution platform, which will be linked to ATG’s betting data feed. The system was delivered on time and on budget in 2014.
